Victoria Silvstedt ready to roll in a Britsh vampire film

Directed by Steven Lawson, (with whom Sothcott recently collaborated on the low-budget-filmmaking spoof JUST FOR THE RECORD, starring SEVERANCE’s Danny Dyer, DOG SOLDIERS’ Sean Pertwee, Victoria Silvstedt, BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE’s Colin Salmon, THE YOUNG ONES’ Rik Mayall and Craig Fairbrass) Dead Cert was scripted by Lawson, Ben Shillito and Nick Onsloe.

“The story is about a violent clash between London and Romanian gangsters over a nightclub; think Layer Cake meets From Dusk Till Down,” Sothcott tells us. “It has a razor-sharp script and will be really gory and violent, but at its heart it’s a very modern spin on Stoker’s DRACULA. No red-lined capes or crosses and garlic, but the vampire as ancient diseased invader against very modern Brits is the core of this movie.”
